Ulrich BassDesign are handcrafting their instruments in a small workshop in Germany. Combining modern design with traditional methods that have been used for centuries.
The slotted headstock that is inspired by classical guitar making ensures a great sound experience and a tighter feeling. Only high end parts and materials are selected for this instrument. A special feature is the magnetic electronic control plate, which allows easy access to the inside of the bass.
This bass is a very powerful instrument for a fast finger style player. Because of its light and stable construction it offers a huge dynamic range, super fast attack and long sustain. Although it is equipped with only one pickup it offers a variety of sound possibilities. The Jazzbuck by Harry Häussel actually has two standard Jazz single coils in one cover. They fit perfectly together as a humbucker and as you can mention as a single coil anyway. Combined with a Noll 4-band equalizer this bass formes every sound you wish.
